30 Paintings - Day 19!

Some times a painting just comes together and some times you have to fight it: today's painting was the former!
#1084 - Golden Glow - 11 x 14 acrylic on gallery wrap canvas
This piece went so smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased. Is it abstract, impressionistic or representational? Who cares? - lol!

Over the years I have found a few artists to follow thanks to the 30/30 challenges. You might enjoy seeing their work too! - Wild About Painting, LamujoArt, Watercolors By Joan 2), and Sheila's Corner Studio.

Of course you can always find them and many others on Leslie's Blog.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. This is beautiful. It's as if beautiful shadowed trees are reflecting in the lake and the lovely glow resonates throughout. Love this!

  2. Great job on this!!! I love the colors and the reflection of the trees. You are getting so good at these. I feel bad. This year I just haven't had the time to visit blogs/websites of the participating artists. I feel like my travel planning is taking over my life and I get very little done other than researching things for my trips.

    1. Thank you so much Joan. I am so pleased that you like the work I have been doing. Considering how busy you are with the various clubs and your travel, I am surprised that you have managed to keep up with as many artists as you have done. Keep up the good work but take time to relax too!

    2. The "30 Day" challenge is slowing me down a bit, but I catch up with the blogs I really like.

  3. This one is terrific. Will check out the new folks, except for Joan and Sheila, already love them!! You too Val. Hey we are finally supposed to get some sun, of course tomorrow, back to rain!! Oh well. At least it didn't pour on move day so I am not complaining. Our lakes are back to full pool, first time in 6 years, maybe we won't have drought this summer, fingers crossed.
