My piece today is a Quilled painting.

Quilled Owl |
The owl is 4.5 x 5.25 inches made with 1/8" quilling paper and mounted in an 8 x 10 mat. I worked on this piece off and on for 4 days. This is my second quilled painting and a valuable learning experience.
Very Cwhool!
ReplyDeleteI just have to say 'groan'!Thanks Sheila.
DeleteBoy this looks cool, really captured the likeness. All I can say is oh Sheila, she got you
ReplyDeleteThanks Nelvia. Although I groaned over Sheila's comment I thought it was pretty clever - Whoo knew?
DeleteThis is SO cool
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurie. I am still experimenting and hope to do another quilled picture today.
Deleteanother great one Val :)
ReplyDeleteThanks you Cindy for the lovely comment - The more we try the more we grow!
DeleteLoving the textural look of this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Win
DeleteYou do such intricate quilling! I like how you used the different colored papers to give color to the owl.
ReplyDeleteThis was pretty much an experiment. Instead of using the quilling paper in a more traditional manner, I worked as if I were painting - more or less - lol.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
