September Challenge Day 2

To help me get back in the groove of doing Pen & Ink, I have been using some books by Claudia Nice for ideas and reference. A number of my cards are based on her drawings.

I find that it takes some time to get back the flow of a different medium when you have not done it for a while. Also, 'seeing' colored things in black and white can be difficult.

Practice, practice, practice!

  5. Isn't she a super teacher. Loving this tree, it has strength and wisdom. Wish we had trees like this here in GA. In NC there is a park ,Joyce Kilmer, with a stand of first growth trees, like going to church walking through them.

    1. Hi Nelvia - She is a wonderful artist and I am so glad she has books so people can learn from her. I have always felt that the forest is God's church and love being surrounded by trees with the mountains behind.
