I have booked a table during Birdfest to, hopefully, sell some of the bird paintings that I had planned to display at the Chamber - keeping my fingers crossed!Mellowood Galleryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16204405235754555730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3242851672654516298.post-85396394553992878272017-03-02T08:22:20.469-08:002017-03-02T08:22:20.469-08:00Thanks Laurie. I use the finished painting for that student's next class to show them ways they can adjust their own painting and demonstrate single techniques on a separate piece of paper. That is how "A Quiet Place" happened.Mellowood Galleryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16204405235754555730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3242851672654516298.post-51863047712570187602017-02-28T14:41:02.419-08:002017-02-28T14:41:02.419-08:00Do you usually finish your demo in class or later?...Do you usually finish your demo in class or later? I rarely use purchased greens as I prefer the variety of mixing them - never the same twice. Glad you like these. We work on specific techniques and try to do a painting each class although they don't often finish in class. Glad you like the paintings. Your details and brilliant green leaves in the first are gorgeous :) The distant hills and sky in the second catch my eye, and your talent with atmosphere shines in the third piece! Love them all!Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15051980478832038967noreply@blogger.com
