More Quilling

I have been spending the last few days making some cards combining quilling with watercolour.
Red Sails in the Sunset

Calliope with Fuchsia

Calliope with Delphinium
I really can't price these high enough to make up for the time I spend making them which is why I am glad my art is more hobby than profession - lol. However, because I enjoy the making I will be doing more I am sure.

The cards are 5 x 7 and come with an envelope and are packaged in a clear bag.

  2. Quilling must take a lot of time with the rolling and the gluing. These are lovely. I like how you did the body of the bird, Val!

    1. Hi Joan. Yes, quilling takes a long time especially as I don't do it often enough to be really proficient. I will often work while I am watching TV so that makes it take longer too - lol. Thanks for your comment.

    1. Thanks Sheila. I am having a good time with these and I sold one already - I figure I made about $2.25 an hour - lol

  4. I particularly like the birds in this media. Someone is going to really like getting one of these cards. Yep, if we could just break even wouldn't that be lovely?

    1. Morning Nelvia. I like the birds best too and am working on another one today. As for breaking even, I manage to almost do that because I teach too. We will do a lot for our art - lol. Thanks for stopping by.
