2016 Day 11

My piece today is a Quilled painting.
Quilled Owl
The owl is 4.5 x 5.25 inches made with 1/8" quilling paper and mounted in an 8 x 10 mat. I worked on this piece off and on for 4 days. This is my second quilled painting and a valuable learning experience.

    1. Thanks Nelvia. Although I groaned over Sheila's comment I thought it was pretty clever - Whoo knew?

  5. You do such intricate quilling! I like how you used the different colored papers to give color to the owl.

    1. This was pretty much an experiment. Instead of using the quilling paper in a more traditional manner, I worked as if I were painting - more or less - lol.
      Thanks for stopping by.
