Septmeber Challenge Day 8

Today's card was actually done a few days ago and I had to take about 8 photos before I got one that worked. They were fuzzy, blue, shadowed - you name it! And, many of them were impossible to adjust with GIMP considering my limited skills.

I have been doubling up my drawings as the next few days are going to be super busy. The Art Club I belong to is having its annual fall show and sale this weekend so I have to get my art ready. I am also treasurer of the club so I have that to organize as well. On top of that, I coordinate 2 local art displays: Art in the Library and Art in the Chamber and this is the week that the art gets changed - it never rains but it pours! Which by the way is a very silly statement as it often rains without pouring - lol.

Don't forget to check out Leslie's blog to see some of the wonderful art being shared by the other artists in the 30 Painting in 30 Days Challenge - http://lesliesaeta.blogspot.ca/2015/09/thirty-paintings-in-30-days-day-eight.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed:+blogspot/PzFQn+%28Slices+of+Life%29

  1. Another cute card! I love your cards Val :)

I hope you have a great time at your art show. You know, you said you are going to be busy, but THAT is the kind of BUSY that I like... it might be hectic but at least its fun. Good luck on the show :)

    1. Thanks so much for the compliment of the card. It is the getting ready that is the pain but the show is usually great fun.

    1. Thanks Sheila, I am really hoping it does well as we are using the show to raise some funds for a family whose 8 year old daughter is having cancer treatments. Most of the medical is covered but not the travel or accommodations so we hope to help.

    1. Thanks Nelvia, We don't have a lot of chipmunks here but we have squirrels who eat the seeds the birds drop and who harvest the walnuts from our tree. They are fun to watch.
